Warree Lebron was a student of Kelly Fitzpatrick and associated with Fitzpatrick as a teacher at his summer art camp known as the Dixie Art Colony. The Colony program ended around 1948, but Lebron and her husband continued the cooperative program on land they owned in Coosa County, which also contained Hatchet Creek.
