The print series, Celestial Happenings: Stars Fell on Alabama, in the MMFA collection was produced while Thomson was a Master's candidate at Auburn University. The series consists of four color lithographs as well as title, preface, and colophon pages. Four watercolor studies for the lithographs also were acquired by the MMFA along with the print series.
