Because a dessert service of this design belonged to the family of Lord Henry Thynne, the second son of the third Marquess of Bath, who died in 1904, the pattern is known today as Lord Henry Thynne. The design was used at Worcester from about 1775 to 1785. All pieces have a deep blue border with gilding as well as circular landscape panels within frames of turquoise corn husks.
