This jug is molded in low relief in the form of overlapping cabbage leaves extending into a straight neck embossed with a border of small leaves. Called "Dutch jugs," such forms display a wide range of decoration, both in blue-and-white and colors. Worcester produced these types of jugs in large numbers until about 1785.
